The Make-A-Wish
Foundation® of Louisiana's Kids For Wish Kids® program gives
schools and organizations throughout the state the opportunity to
sponsor wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses.
Kids
For Wish Kids is an extremely popular program for kids because it
is managed by kids! They are responsible for coming up with the
ideas and carrying them out. Teachers and parents often serve as
advisors, but ownership of the project belongs solely to the kids
involved. The program builds team spirit, creates teacher/student
partnerships and promotes the value of community service.
