Workplace Giving

You can help wish children experience the impact of a wish in your own community. If your employer offers a payroll deduction program benefiting charities, you may select the Make-A-Wish Foundation® as your charity of choice.

Give a Wish-Come-True to Business Associates at Holiday Time
For a minimum donation of $10 per name, we will send a festive card and wish story to your business associates or employer acknowledging the gift you made in their honor. The deadline for this service during the holiday season is two weeks prior to Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa.

If you are a last minute shopper or wish to personalize your card you may mail the cards yourself with an enclosure of your own.

Matching Gifts
Numerous companies offer a matching-gifts program, which can double your annual contribution to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Louisiana. Check with your company's personnel or accounting department and team up with your employer to create memories that will last forever.

Employee Giving Campaigns
You can make a difference in the lives of children with life-threatening illnesses in your own community. There are several ways that you can designate the Make-A-Wish Foundation your charity of choice on your workplace giving form:

Private Sector, State, and Local Government Employees

Look for the Make-A-Wish Foundation under the America's Charities listing on your giving campaign form. America's Charities is the Make-A-Wish Foundation's partner in the workplace, with inclusion in hundreds of state and local government, public sector, and corporate employee campaigns. You can designate the Make-A-Wish Foundation as the beneficiary of your payroll deductions or choose to make a one-time gift.

Federal Government Employees

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the outlet for federal employees to demonstrate their philanthropic commitment. To help make wishes come true with your CFC contribution, enter the Make-A-Wish Foundation's CFC agency code, 0426, on your campaign pledge card.

United Way

Most local United Way programs allow donors to specify a charity other than one from their list of participants. Your local United Way will then forward your gift directly to the Foundation. Ask for a donor option form.
